Okay now I have a Idea for a new name, only if you want to change it(No offense to Def)...Lately there has been probs on ME, where it can not be fixed, so we MAY move to anew forum, this one will NOT be shut down though, the new forum will be made soon and will be run by me, Spec, Hitomi and Kriven, and maybe some of you Original members.

We shall Debate on changing the Name or just keeping the old name, here is the list of the name ideas

Gaijin Manga(Foreigner's Comic)
Manga Elements
Blazing Otaku
Graphics In Action, Internation(al) Tribe. Or GIANT

We really need to hear from everyone. If you have any Suggestions on names please post them and If you feel that we should or should not change the name please tell us why

well, if we going to change the name it has to be something catchy and something that doesn't have a hidden meaning, sometime it push people into believing we're trying to be like foreign countries. And it good that we're changing forum cause the problem are really getting annoying, I can't tell anyone about this place when I myself is having a lot of problem with it.

The problem with Gaijin is that the name is very derogatory in Japan. Thats the connotation anyway. It'll be hard to be taken seriously when people here start getting serious.

What we seem to need here is a name that's specific, in the way of being apt and easily recognizable, yet generic, no hidden meaning, no complex allusion. Something that is self-referencing, telling the world that we are the place for amateur, hobbyist, and aspiring creators. A place where each team sets their own pace. I would propose something along the lines of Graphics In Action, Internation(al) Tribe. Or GIANT?

It seems catchy enough, acronymic, even memic? It says what we are, without diminishing us or falling to pretension.. Well, the acronym might be a little pretentious....

Anyway, it -is- rather a wordy title. And apparently leaves out us writers, hmmm... What do -you- think? Can we get away with something similar? Should we try for an acronymic again? Talk to me...

Graphic, storytelling, international, cheese.. acronyms are nice, bit I'd put catchiness as more important.
