The Gist Empty The Gist

It's as dorky as it sounds. Dr. Baron von Evilsatan is about a young
american villain who travels to Tokyo to begin his reign of terror.
There's only one problem, he sucks at it. This story is basically one
giant parody of manga/anime and classic villains. With an offbeat cast
consisting entirely of bad Western and Eastern stereotyped characters
mixed together. (Emo mechanic who builds emo mecha, Magic girl who has
very little knowledge or control of her own powers, etc) the story will
often deviate randomly from the original plot so that it can change
locals so that every stereotype can be covered (high school, space
station). This story will be lighthearted and very funny.

btw, this just occurred to me-

What genre will this be in? Sounds like it'd fit well with something along the lines of Girl Genius (which is HEAVILY steampunk), or Excel Saga (not sure where you'd place that one).

Lampoon might be better, instead of the straightforward if often outrageous comedy of GinTama.

Sorry this suggestion came so late after you posted. What you think?

I'm not quite sure what you mean (I didn't know steampunk was a genre, I thought it was an art style). If we could, however, we would eventually cover every genre and style, switching to new ones every chapter/volume/book.

There's an Australian fellow, Chyna (yes he has a girl's name... how does he spell it, anyway?) Melville, I think is his name, who writes steampunk-ish novels...

Changing your genre, at all, might be good for the Ultimate Manga Lampoon Blowout, which btw really must be self-aware as well... or it could ruin it.

Waaaay ahead of you. We're going incredibly overboard. Hell there might even be a fight between two characters using shout bubbles as weapons
