[edit]: I'm not saying IQ tests are accurate. They're quite limited. Short term memory, mathematic problem solving, pattern recognition, word relation, general knowledge (though it is hardly general - It asked about Princeton and I have no idea as I'm not American).

I know four languages (and bits and pieces of others), can play several musical instruments, can learn very quickly, I know css, html, several digital programs, a lot of journalism and creative writing related things that I've studied over the years.

Yet, none of this is taken into consideration. Now that I think of it, no science questions are ever included either (except the one of the process from liquid to gas).

If you post your score, also post the extent of your knowledge (languages, what you've studied, etc) and years of study. It'll be interesting to see the comparision.

I'm pretty sure that's it's quite a bit higher than that... I speak four languages (albeit in various degrees of craptitude), and it barely tested me on one XD

My actual score, hm if's been a while, but my IQ is probably 159 maybe 60's 70's

And yes this a score I got from a acctual IQ test, I speak Anchient greek, some french, itailian German, Norse, Latin, of course english use to speak japanese real well but it is been a while...

Well, I get the impression IQ tests are way too limited in scope. The qualities they monitor are but a very small subset of what makes a person smart. eg I was tested at 16, with a score of 126. Yet I retain at 43 nearly everything I've ever learned. One aquaintance felt my true IQ was in the 140's.
Online tests put me in the 130's...
Sometimes I feel my IQ cannot be reliably tested.

All I can say is, I'm not all that smart. I just know a hell of a lot.

A person's intellect can't be measured on IQ alone...there are other factors that can affect this. Anyway I tried it out and got 115, last time I took an IQ test I got 87 XD

Not to mention how the scales have changed over the years and researcher to researcher. Riggim's IQ ranges from idiot to slightly above average.

You could say I was an Idiot back then. A real Jerkwad Not that I'm proud of it. I'm relieved I threw away that side of me, really annoying if I think about it now. Again I tried it out 3 times and got different results....in one go I knew more of the questions than in other tries so I got higher score. Well I guess the first try is what that counts XD

I feel smart. I totally got a good grade in physics class! I've got a bad memory though, especially for names of things.. D:

Yes, IQ tests are very limited. It's mostly pattern and math related problems. I know a lot about languages and several other things. But it doesn't make it any less interesting to complete them. I've received 127 - 140 on most of them but none of them are "official" and once you have an understanding of how the questions in these tests work, it's easier to answer them.

There are supposedly smart people paying those high IQ organisations to be a member. That's what I call stupid. You don't get much out of them.

IQ tests aren't really necessary for anything. Not that I'm aware of (except saying you have a high iq and joining some organisation). People can be stupid but excel through either luck or skill.
